CADBURY S'mores Sliders
Ingredients
- 4 brioche mini buns, split
- 1 large firm ripe banana
- 4 squares Cadbury Dairy Milk Made for S'mores Bar (1/2 of 180-g bar)
- 8 marshmallows
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
CAUTION: The filling in these delicious s'mores will be hot. Adult supervision is required.
Preparation
Heat oven to 400°F.
Place bun halves, cut sides up, in single layer in 9-inch square pan.
Cut banana lengthwise in half, then cut each half crosswise into 4 pieces. Place 2 banana pieces in single layer on each bun bottom; top each with 1 chocolate square and 2 marshmallows, rounded sides down.
Add cinnamon to small fine-mesh sieve; sprinkle evenly over marshmallows.
Bake 6 to 8 min. or until marshmallows are lightly toasted. Remove from oven.
Cover sandwiches with tops of buns to make 4 sandwiches. Let stand 2 min. before serving.
Recipe Tips
- Note
If you don't have a small sieve you can instead use your fingers to sprinkle the cinnamon over the tops of the marshmallows.
- Use Your Barbecue
Heat barbecue to medium heat. Prepare sandwiches as directed, substituting a disposable foil pan for the baking pan and reducing the grilling time to 5 min. or just until marshmallows are softened and lightly toasted. Oveheating can cause bottom of buns to burn.
- Special Extra
Spread 2 tsp. creamy peanut butter onto chocolate piece on each sandwich before topping with marshmallows and baking as directed.
- Sweet and Salty S'mores
Prepare sliders as directed, except place 1 large pretzel twist on bottom half of each bun before topping with the bananas, chocolate and marshmallows, and baking as directed.
