TRISCUIT Apple, Ham & Mozza Bites

Ingredients
  • 120 g mozzarella cheese
  • 120 g deli Black Forest ham, cut into 1/8-inch-thick slices
  • 30 Triscuit Cracked Pepper & Olive Oil Crackers
  • 1 small apple, cut into 30 slices
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
Preparation
  • Cut cheese into 15 slices, then cut each cheese slice crosswise in half. Cut ham into 60 pieces.

  • Top each cracker with 1 apple slice, 1 cheese slice and 2 ham pieces.

  • Drizzle with syrup.

  • Sprinkle with chives.

Recipe Tips
  • Variation

    Prepare recipe using 10 thin packaged deli-style ham slices and 60 (1-inch-long) fresh chive pieces.  Cut each ham slice into 3 pieces, then roll each ham slice up.  Place 1 ham roll on top of each apple- and cheese-topped cracker, then drizzle with syrup and top with chives. 

  • How to Prevent the Sliced Apples from Browning
    Toss the apple slices with lemon juice, then pat dry with paper towels before using as directed.
  • Variation

    Substitute 5 crisply cooked bacon slices, each cut into 6 pieces, for the ham.
